Sierra Receivables Management started in 1985 by Carmen Saylor. The business was founded on the premise of working with commercial, retail, and medical businesses seeking to collect overdue accounts. In the last few decades, we provided quality collection services and eventually became the number 1 agency in Shasta county.

Carmen Saylor

Carmen Saylor is the founder of Sierra Receivables Management, Inc., a collection agency established in 1985 in Redding, CA. Her vision was to establish a locally owned and operated company to better serve the collection needs of commercial, retail and medical industries. Her 20 years of collection and management experience is combined with a dedication and drive to understand the court systems throughout California. Carmen has been instrumental in developing legal departments for several collection agencies.Carmen has worked with all divisions of the company to place emphasis on the following:
  • to provide recovery ratios above industry standards
  • to provide the best in customer service
These objectives are on-going, and Carmen believes this is why the agency continues to grow and be a leader in the collection industry.

Nannette Knauer

Nannette Knauer is the co-owner of Sierra Receivables Management, Inc. Nannette holds a degree in business management and is a graduate of Leadership Redding. She actively continues her education through the California Association of Collectors (CAC) and the American Collectors Association (ACA). Nannette is dedicated to her local community and holds memberships with the following: CAC, ACA, Better Business Bureau, Sacramento Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Greater Redding Chamber of Commerce, and Redding Rotary. She is the past president of Northern Business Associates, past president of BPW, and past Director of Redding Rotary. Nannette was the recipient of the 1995 Hall of Excellence Award for Customer Service and the 1992 Service Award as Northern California’s Young Careerist through the California Federation of BPW.
